With over $2.5 billion invested to date, the Tonkolili iron ore deposit is located within the Sula Mountain range.

With an estimated resource capacity of up to 13.7 billion tons, the mine is fully integrated with owned and exclusively operated infrastructure links. These ensure a direct route to Pepel Port, with onward access to Chinese and European markets.

The iron ore is loaded into rail cars using front end loaders and transported to the Pepel. From there it leaves the port via a fleet of four trans-shipping vessels.
